Gold Vermeil (pronounced vur-MAY) will always have a core alloy of .925 sterling silver that has been expertly plated with a thick layer of 14k-24k gold. This layer has to be at least 2.5 microns in thickness to qualify as Vermeil. Gold Vermeil is the perfect option for those with metal allergies due to the durable thickness of the gold combined with the base of sterling silver. The thickness of the gold layer is what sets vermeil apart from simple gold plated pieces, making it extremely durable To care for your vermeil pieces, gently buff with a dry cotton cloth and store in original packaging.

Avoid oils and detergents, we suggest removing when exercising, in saunas and hot baths. Casual exposure to water is suitable but we suggest cleaning after each use. Clean your plated jewellery with a dry cotton ball or a soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired and store in its original packaging.
